LA Jolla baseball defeats  Montgomery 3-1 in 8 innings on the road.  Senior Cooper McNally hit a home in 6th to tie the game. Luke Brunette doubles in 2 runs with 2 outs in 8th.  Koa Scott pitched great for 7 innings. Julian Zuniga closed it out for the win.

Last night’s 9-1 Victory over Mission Bay, was alum Gary Frank’s 229th win as the Vikings Varsity Baseball Manager.  He surpassed alum Bob Allen’s record of 228 wins  set in 2003.  That makes him the winningest baseball coach in Viking history. Congratulations Coach Frank and Go Vikes!!!

Congratulations to the JV baseball team for winning the Sweetwater Tournament.  In the bottom of the 7th, Jackson Stratton stuck out three batters in a row with the bases loaded and the Vikings up by one run. Below is a video of the game winning pitch: Video
