NATIONAL LETTER OF INTENT
ANNOUNCEMENT & SIGNING DAY
Wednesday, November 11 in Petco Park’s Lexus Premier Lot
There will be excitement in the air when student-athletes from throughout the county converge on Petco Park on Wednesday, Nov. 11 to announce where they will be playing sports at the next level and sign their National Letters of Intent.
Gates open at 7:00 am and the program starts at 8:00 am.
DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS, WE HAVE CREATED A UNIQUE DRIVE-IN OPPORTUNITY FOR THE STUDENT-ATHLETES AND THEIR FAMILIES. WE ARE LIMITED TO 250 CARS, SO RSVP ASAP. CARS WITHOUT A RESERVATION WILL NOT BE PERMITTED.
The San Diego Sports Association’s College National Letter of Intent Announcement & Signing Day is for any high school senior student-athlete intending to compete in intercollegiate athletics in any sport.
WHAT: College National Letter of Intent Announcement & Signing Day to reveal which college/university high school senior student-athletes will attend next fall. In order to ensure a safe event, guests must remain in their vehicles at all times. Student-athletes will be called up to the stage for the announcement and a photo opportunity. Photos will be emailed to each student-athlete after the event.
WHO: Anyone who is signing a National Letter of Intent or who will be continuing their athletic careers at universities that do not require a National Letter of Intent (Ivy League, service academies, Division II, III, NAIA).
WHERE: Lexus Premier Lot at Petco Park. Check-in at the Tailgate Lot, at 13th and K Streets. Cars that have proof of pre-registration will then be escorted to the Lexus Premier Lot. Unfortunately, due to social distancing restrictions, cars that have not pre-registered will be turned away.
WHY: To celebrate local athletic excellence. For many of these student-athletes, this is a highlight of years of practice and competition, earning the opportunity to compete at the next level.

by Tuesday, November 3 to reserve your spot. Registered guests will receive check-in instructions and an individual barcode that will be scanned upon entry to the event.
